Information at your fingertips..
The internet at its fundamental core is about information, and having information at your fingerprints, there is a school of thought which will tell you you don’t need to know everything, you need to know how to find everything.
Finding information is one thing, having the information you want displayed to you is another.
Earlier this week i was looking for a Twitter Ticker bar for my Mac, and found Snackr an Adobe Air based ticker application.

Sitting at the bottom of the screen the ticker can actually be moved to wherever you want it, and will display Twitter, Google reader and other RSS type sources.
Snackr will check feeds on startup and every 45 minutes by default after that, clicking on a story opens a popup window just above the story which will then allow you to open the story in the default web browser.
The interface is simple for the ticker bar:
Quit (why would you ever want to do this?)
While using this on a 11” Macbook Air probably won’t be the greatest experience, due to the lack of screen real estate, you can minimize and reopen the application, this app does come into its own on larger screens like the iMac i use at work.
